Deadly striker Osea Vakatalesau could make his return this season for the Lautoka football side in the Vodafone Premier League match against Tavua on Sunday.

Vakatalesau has been nursing his knee injury he sustained last year and is ready for a come-back.

Lautoka Coach Kamal Swamy says they will select their best available players as they are looking forward to making a winning start this weekend.

“It is important for us to go in the league and try and defend our title so that we can again qualify for the OFC Champions League next year.”

Lautoka faces Tavua at 3pm at Churchill Park on Sunday and in the other match at the same time, Nasinu plays Ba at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
