Tavua will be banking on the Tavua College players who won the Secondary School’s IDC this year to help them take on Lautoka.

Team Official Vicky Kumar says they will also be giving three of their suspended players another chance.

The three are Semi Vakatalai, Atunaisa Livanalagi and Varinava Telewa who were suspended for indiscipline.

Kumar says the team began training from Monday this week.

He says one of the difficulties for the team is finding a sponsor.

Kumar adds that they have been without a sponsor for a very long time and will be grateful if someone comes forward to lend a helping hand for the team’s preparations.

Tavua will host Lautoka at Garvey Park in Tavua at 3pm on Sunday.

In other VPL matches this weekend, Labasa meet Nasinu this Saturday at 2pm at the Bocalevu Primary School, Labasa.

Rewa faces Ba at the Fiji FA Academy grounds in Ba at 3pm on Saturday while Nadi will host Suva at Prince Charles Park in Nadi at 7pm tomorrow.
