Tavua football under pressure ahead of VPL

The Tavua football side is having a hard task in putting up a team to take on Lautoka in the opening round of the 2019 Vodafone Premier League match this weekend.
President Pranesh Prakash says this is due to the departing of five of their senior players through the transfer window.
“It took us four years to develop this team and other teams have eyed our elite players and we’re facing a lot of difficulties in putting together a good team to face Lautoka.”
Lautoka hosts Tavua at Churchill Park at 3pm Saturday and you can catch the commentary of this match on Radio Fiji TWO.
In another match, Nasinu plays Ba at 3pm at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park on Sunday.
