Tavua football under pressure ahead of VPL

January 14, 2019 4:03 pm

The Tavua football side is having a hard task in putting up a team to take on Lautoka in the opening round of the 2019 Vodafone Premier League match this weekend.

President Pranesh Prakash says this is due to the departing of five of their senior players through the transfer window.

“It took us four years to develop this team and other teams have eyed our elite players and we’re facing a lot of difficulties in putting together a good team to face Lautoka.”
