Tavua football to go through soul searching ahead of next VPL match

The Tavua football needs to do a lot of souls searching before facing Labasa in the Vodafone Premier League match on Saturday.

The side lost to Nasinu 3-1 yesterday and has six points in the bag after four matches.

Coach Nazil Ali says the need to work on a few areas if they are to overcome a tough Labasa outfit in the weekend.

“Nasinu had few opportunities and they were able to put it through. We have to work on our defense which is our areas of focus for this week.”

Tavua travels to North to play Labasa at 1.30pm at Subrail Park on Saturday.

In a doubleheader on Sunday, Nasinu meets Lautoka at 1pm at ANZ Stadium after which Suva battles it out against Nadi at 3pm.
