The Tavua football side made its long travel to the northern division all worth it after defeating Labasa 2-1 in the Vodafone Premier League match this afternoon.

The side took the lead 1-0 at the breather.

Tavua’s goals were scored by Marika Rawasoi and Atunaisa Livanalagi while Lekima Gonerau scored Labasa’s lone goal.

Meanwhile, Nasinu takes on Lautoka at 1pm tomorrow at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.

In another match at 3pm, Suva will host Nadi at the same venue.
