Former national goalkeeper Tagi Vonolagi is the new Lautoka football coach.

Vonolagi who has been with the Nasinu side for the last few years will replace Ravinesh Kumar at Lautoka.

Vonolagi’s appointment has been confirmed to FBC Sports by Lautoka FA Vice-President Abdul Kadar.

Kadar says they are so fortunate to secure the services of someone like Vonolagi.

“We respect him and he’s a very humble person and he’s got soccer in his heart.”

Kadar who is part of the new Lautoka FA board says Vonolagi’s contract will be for a year.

“Fiji football has appointed us just for a year, until December 31st 2021 so I think he will be with us until 2021.”

Lautoka is also interested in a few new players in this transfer window.
