Sydney FC has emerged as favorites to land in-demand A-League Golden Boot winner Roy Krishna after the Fijian rejected a lucrative approach to join newcomers Western United.
It’s suspected that Western United offered Krishna a three-year deal worth $750,000 a season.

However, it’s reported that Sydney FC is prepared to trump those figures – which equate to $2.25 million over three years – with a marquee-style offer Krishna will find impossible to ignore.
The 31-year old is enjoying his best season so far with 19 goals in 27 games taking him to previously unprecedented heights.
