Napolioni Qasevakatini has recovered from his injury and his chances for playing this Saturday against Nadi will be decided tomorrow.

Qasevakatini missed the match against Nasinu last week which saw Labasa go down 2-0.

Coach Anand Sami says Qasevakatini has been training with the team and they will see how he performs in the sessions today and tomorrow.

The Labasa soccer side cannot afford to lose another game.

Sami is hoping to make up for the side’s loss against Nasinu last weekend when they meet Nadi at Subrail Park in Labasa on Saturday.

He adds they have ironed out a few things that went wrong in the match against Nasinu.

“The most important thing was the goal scoring. We missed so many in the first 20 minutes against Nasinu. If we would have scored a couple of goals in the first 20 minutes it would have been different. Our players must realize once they get the scoring chance they should find the net. That’s what it is!”

Sami says the new and old players are working well together and are committed to training.

Labasa plays Nadi at 1.30pm on Saturday at Subrail Park.

Two matches will be played on Sunday at 3pm, Tavua meets Nasinu at Garvey Park and Lautoka faces Rewa at Churchill Park.
