Pre-season transfer window to close tomorrow

The closing date for the Fiji Football Association pre-season transfer window will close midnight tomorrow..

This has been confirmed by Fiji FA Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf.

Yusuf says since tomorrow is Sunday, they have allowed application fees to be paid by 3pm Monday.

At the moment, 24 applications has been processed with four all set to transfer.

The four includes Nasinu’s Marlon Tahioa and Jone Naraba who will now represent Labasa, Pita Kuila of Tailevu Naitasiri transferred to Navua and Bua’s Jaison Deepak Chand to Nadi.

A few transfer applications are also in dispute including Sairusi Nalaubu’s transfer from Suva to Lautoka and Waisake Navunigasau from Rewa to Suva.

Suva and Labasa are expected to finalize its transfer arrangements before the Pillay Garments Champion vs Champions series kicks off next Friday.

Suva will host the first leg at the ANZ Stadium on Friday 7pm and the second round will be held at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park on Sunday at 3pm.
