Wellington Phoenix put on another stunning performance beating the Western Sydney Wanderers side at Westpac Stadium 3-1 in the A-League last night.
Wellington Phoenix reports, it did not take long for Mark Rudan’s men to find the net again as Roy Krishna worked hard to intercept a loose pass and run through an on goal.
Krishna pointed his hands to the sky before dropping to his knees in prayer, in a tribute to the victims of Christchurch’s terrorist attack.
Despite the tight angle, Krishna struck beyond Vedran Janjetovic and into the top corner to provide his team with the lead.

Krishna then celebrated by bowing down in honour of the victims of the attacks.
The night ended on a low note for Krishna, who was sent off following two quick fire yellow cards for similar offences, when raising his arm in a challenge.

The Phoenix cement their fourth position with five rounds remaining, sitting eight points clear of seventh-placed Newcastle.
“Tonight’s performance is dedicated to the victims and their families. It’s not what life should be about”
“It’s just a game of football. You win, you lose, it’s irrelevant when things like this happen”
