Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel

Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel has been elected unopposed for another four-year term.

Apart from him, Naziah Ali-Krishna, who is the wife of Fiji football captain, Roy Krishna, will be the newest woman board member for Fiji FA.

Also, Lautoka football president, Abdul Kadar is the new Vice President from the West.

Patel says he is happy to be back at the helm.

Patel told FBC Sports that being re-elected unopposed into his position means that more changes and development in the sport will take place during his leadership.

“This is something that shows that we’re heading to the right direction and the right path and growing the game of football and I’m happy with the result and the Congress didn’t take long.”
