Playing on home soil will bring the much-needed boost for the Nadi football side this weekend as they prepare to host Suva.

Association President Javed Ahmad says they are all eagerly looking forward to the match.

Ahmad says the absence of the Under 23 players will be an issue for the team but he believes other players will need to step up.

“We have got some new players who can do the job, the combinations are also working fine.”

Nadi will host Suva at 3pm on Saturday at Prince Charles Park.

In other matches this weekend, Nasinu will face Labasa on Saturday with the time and venue for the match yet to be confirmed.

Rewa takes on Ba at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Ba at 3pm on Saturday while Tavua will host Lautoka at Garvey Park at 3pm on the same day.
