Nadi books a final spot, Lautoka bows out of FACT tournament

The Jacks Nadi Football side has booked the first Fiji FACT final spot this afternoon.

This after the Green Machine beat tough host Lautoka 3-2 at their home ground at Churchill Park.

The Nadi Football side made an early start with Rahul Krishna scoring the first goal of the match just 15 minutes into the game.

Lautoka’s Kolinio Sivoki struck back for the Bluez to equalize the score 1-all in the 35th minute.

Jeshal Kumar of Nadi then added the tiebreaker in the 53rd minute to take the lead.

Nadi’s dominance was prominent in the second spell with Tito Vodowaqa scoring the third goal for the jet setters in the 68th minute, further extending their lead.

Lautoka fought back with a goal from Sairusi Nalaubu to keep the Bluez hopes alive.

In the second semi-final, Suva takes on Ba at 3.30pm.

The final will be played at 3pm tomorrow.
