Lautoka to host OFC champions League this Sunday

Good chance for Lautoka football fans to witness their side in action on home soil this weekend in the OFC Champions League.

Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says this will be the first time Lautoka will be hosting this competition.

He says Lautoka was one of the consistent teams in the league last season and they hoping they maintain that on home soil this weekend.

“Lautoka people they see their team last year and they played their pool games in Auckland and qualify and went all the way to the final and this is the good chance for the fans to come and they are one of the most consistent team in the country and good chance for fans to come and see firsthand what Lautoka do on home soil.”

Lautoka hosts Morobe Wanens at Churchill Park at 3pm Sunday.
