The Lautoka Football team beat Nadi 2-1 in the Vodafone Premier League at Prince Charles Park.
The Blues opened the scoring in the second half through Samuela Drudru.
The hosts did not lose hope and a minute later, it was William Valentine who levelled scores to 1-1.
Lautoka applied continuous pressure and was rewarded when Navneel Nand made it 2-1.
Both teams were locked at nil-all at the breather.
Lautoka remains in second place but closed the gap in the points standings with 16 points, four points behind leaders Ba.
Nadi remains at the bottom of the points standings with six points.

Two games will take place on Sunday at 3pm when Nadi will host Tavua at Prince Charles Park while Nasinu will face Lautoka at Churchill Park.
