Fiji-born Wellington Phoenix star striker Roy Krishna will join the Fiji Football side when they face New Caledonia and Mauritius in the test matches next month.

Fiji FA chief executive, Mohammed Yusuf says Krishna has also been confirmed to play for the national side in the Pacific Games.

“He’s available for Fiji versus Mauritius match but he will probably not play the first match because a day before that, he will play a very tough match for the Wellington Phoenix in Australia, BUT he will be with the team when they take on New Caledonia in Suva.”

Krishna is an inspiration for local football players who dream to make it big into the international football arena.
