Fiji Football captain Roy Krishna is hoping his side Wellington Phoenix will improve its ranking in the A-League standings after its match against Central Coast Mariners this Saturday.
Fiji’s wonder boy and Phoenix’s star striker says they are working towards making the play-off in the A-League competition this year.
“We’re still in the top six and we have six more games to go so hopefully we can win and make the play-offs. There’s still a long way to go and anyone can beat everyone. But so far so good, we’re doing well but we can’t just rely on the previous results. Last week was a bit disappointing but his week will be a good challenge against Central Coast Mariners.”
Meanwhile, Perth Glory is leading the A-League table standings with 48 points, Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory follows behind with 42 and 38 points respectively while Phoenix is in sixth place with 28 points.
