Fijian sensation Roy Krishna scored the winner as Wellington Phoenix equaled its record of going seven matches unbeaten in a A League football season.
This as they beat Western Sydney Wanderers 3-2 with Krishna scoring two goals in the final 10 minutes to earn his side the win, which pushes them into fifth, seven points ahead of seventh-placed Newcastle Jets.
It is the first time the Phoenix has gone seven matches umbeaten since the 2014/15 season when they went on to finish fourth.
The Nix takes on winless Central Coast Mariners at Westpac Stadium on Saturday night.
