Former Lautoka Football Coach Kamal Swamy has been appointed to Coach the Suva Football side.

Suva Football President Ritesh Pratap says he has been trying to secure Swamy’s coaching services for the past two years.

Pratap says the appointment of the Former Lautoka coach is a much-needed change to uplift the Capital City side.

“We know what he can do and what he is capable of in this current team. We as officials we know that we have the best players in the Suva team and we just needed a good coach who can guide these players and what we believe is Kamal someone who can guide these players to victory.”

Meanwhile, the Suva Football side is currently in fifth place of the Vodafone Premier League standings with 9 points.

In tomorrow’s VPL matches, Tavua will host Ba at Garvey Park at 3pm tomorrow.
