Solomon star striker James Naka is expected to return to the Rewa football side this season.

Naka who currently plays for Nalkutan FC in Vanuatu has shown his interest to play for the Delta Tigers.

It is understood the Rewa officials are expected to lodge his application to Fiji Football Association by tomorrow.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says there have received 27 major district applications so far.

Meanwhile, in the Vodafone Premier League matches this weekend, Labasa faces Ba at 1.15pm at Subrail Park on Saturday.

Three matches will be played on Sunday, all starting at 3pm, Rewa hosts Nasinu at Ratu Cakobau Park, Lautoka plays Suva at Churchill Park and Tavua meets Nadi at Garvey Park.
