“It’s a good feeling when you score in the final. Especially when you are an import player, I have more pressure when I play in the final because they brought me here with so much money so when I score in the final it’s worth it.”

Ifunaoa is a Solomon Islands National and plays club football for Labasa.

Proud moment for the Labasa side as for the first time they have won the IDC title on Western soil.

Labasa ended Suva’s hopes of winning their first tournament title this year after they scored in the second minute of extra time to win 1-0.
