The Fiji Football side will need to work hard if they are to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan next year.
Host Fiji has been drawn in Pool B for the Olympic qualifier and they will need to overcome third-ranked Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and Tonga.
Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel was present at the pool draw in Auckland, New Zealand today.
In Group A, top seed New Zealand will face the fourth-ranked Solomon Islands as well as American Samoa and Samoa.
The winner will secure the rights to represent OFC at the Men’s Olympic Tournament in Tokyo next year.
Competition Director Chris Kemp is confident the tournament will be a success both on and off the field.
Rajesh Patel shares the same sentiments and can’t wait to welcome the competing teams in Fiji.
The OFC Men’s Olympic Tournament will be held in Fiji from the 21st of September to the 5th of October.
