Fiji Football Association carried out an ‘End Violence against Women and Children’ programme in Lautoka during the Fiji FACT pool matches over the weekend.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says the programme is designed to introduce Football to women and children and give them exposure to the sport.

He adds the programme was well received by the attendees.

“Together with the tournament, we had the ‘End Violence against Women and Children’ programme that was very well received by the public. We received a lot of support for the programme.”

Yusuf says they plan to carry out more similar programme this year.
