Fiji FA suspends nine players after tested drug positive

Nine players have been suspended from the Fiji Under-23 team after being tested drug positive.

Fiji Football Association competitions manager Amitesh Pal has confirmed that all these players have been suspended indefinitely.

Pal says there are few prominent players involved who have represented some of the top teams last season.

Meanwhile, in the VPL matches this weekend, Lautoka plays Tavua at 3pm at Churchill Park on Sunday and in the other match at the same time Nasinu hosts Ba at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
