Fiji FA investigates senior coach

The Fiji Football Association will be investigating a senior national coach on allegations of abuse during the Under-23 camp in Ba.

Fiji FA chief executive Mohammed Yusuf has confirmed to FBC Sports that Ba Football Association lodged the complaint as some of its players were amongst those who raised these allegations.

Yusuf says the alleged incident is said to have taken place when nine Under-23 squad members tested positive for drugs last week.

Fiji FA says it is now waiting for a report from the team officials, who were present in camp.

It is currently not clear whether a police report was filed on the matter.
