Fiji expects tough match against Mauritius in International Friendly

The Fiji Football team is expecting a tough Mauritius outfit in its last international friendly this afternoon.

This after Mauritius beat a fast-paced New Caledonia side 3-1 in their match at Lautoka’s Churchill Park this week.

Fiji Football Coach Christophe Gamel says they have designed a strategy to counter Mauritius in hope of upsetting them.

“We will go in with the right spirit. For that I have analyze a little about our previous game and everyday we’ve been working on how to create problems for Mauritius. Of course the game today gave us more information about Mauritius the way they transition, their attack and their defense.”

Fiji will meet Mauritius at 3pm at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
