Borisi, Dreloa and Hughes cleared to play for Rewa

Good news for Rewa fans as Tavua star goalkeeper Jovilisi Borisi has been cleared and will feature for the side in the Vodafone Premier League clash against Labasa on Sunday.

Fiji Football Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says Borisi, Waisake Duwai and Labasa defender Jale Dreloa and Suva utility Bruce Hughes have been cleared to play for the Delta Tigers.

Ba’s application for Ilimotama Jese is also through and the tough defender is expected to face his former district Nadi on Sunday.

Applications for Labasa’s Vilitati Kautoga to move to Suva, Rewa’s Epeli Saukuru and Iosefo Verevou to also join the capital city side and Vuniuci Tikomaimereke move to Labasa will go to the dispute committee.

A decision on the release application of these players will be made next week.

Meanwhile, three matches will be played in the Vodafone Premier League on Sunday.

At 3pm, Rewa faces Labasa at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, Tavua hosts Suva at Garvey Park and Nadi battles Ba at Prince Charles Park.
