The Ba football side is ready to deliver its best shot when they face Team Wellington in its opening OFC Champions League pool match on Saturday.

Defender Avinesh Swamy says they have been working hard for the past few months and will try and make a super start in the weekend.

“We are in a tough pool but nothing is impossible. We have really prepared well for the Champions League so we will just go there and give one hundred percent.”

Ba has played ten times in the OFC Champions League since 1987.

They also appeared in the final in 2007 where they lost to Waitakere United.

The Men in Black is pooled with Team Wellington, Erakor Golden Star and Kiwi FC of Samoa.

They open its campaign against Team Wellington at 3pm on Saturday.
