The Ba FC side has bowed out of the OFC Champions League after losing to Hienghen of New Caledonia 2-1 tonight.
It was a tough match for the two sides as they were tied 1-all at the breather.
Fiji’s Malakai Rakula scored a goal for Ba in the 8th minute of the first half to take an early 1-0 lead.

Bertrand Kai of Hienghen struck back for New Caledonia to equal the score 1-all at the breather.
Both teams were relentless in their defense in the second spell, maintaining the score 1-all to go into extra time.
The match then went into an extra 30 minutes where Geordy Gonykai of Hienghen FC scored the winning goal to put them into the OFC semifinal.
Meanwhile, Auckland City FC thrashed Papua New Guinea’s Lae City Dwellers 4-0 to book the first semi-final ticket of the OFC Championship League.
