Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach, Ben Ryan is urging the team to focus on the upcoming Dubai 7s tournament.

Ryan says the team’s performance should not be affected by the absence of some of the more capable players.

“We are blessed with some play makers, we’ve got the playmaker of the tournament from Gold Coast, Osea Kolinisau and of course Vatemo Ravouvou and also Jerry Tuwai also played very well in that tournament and add into that is Eminoni Nasilasila that’s over the weekend and we’ve got some very good options there.”

The 18-member squad is expected to camp in Pacific Harbour today.

Fiji is pooled with Argentina, France and Brazil in the Dubai 7s which will be held on the 5th and sixth of next month.
