Focus on England-McKee tells players

September 15, 2015 7:19 pm

Vodafone Flying Fijians Coach John McKee has urged the players not to lose focus as they begin their quest to create upsets at the Rugby World Cup starting this Saturday.

McKee says the team is aware of the pressure as the competition begins and the main key is to guide the players in fulfilling their individual responsibilities.

“This week the pressure will build and just to help them to keep focus on their task. And that’s how you overcome the pressure by focusing on the things you need to do and not get too distracted by all the other factors.”

McKee adds, with the combination of the experience and the new players, the team has a high chance of producing better results.
Meanwhile, the Tourism Fiji office in London is also getting in on the Rugby World Cup hype.
The organization will be present at Twickenham promoting Fiji as a tourist destination and making the most of the 82,000 fans who will turn up.

The Flying Fijians open its campaign against England at 7am this Saturday.

You can watch the entire tournament live on FBC TV.
