The Vodafone Flying Fijians focus will now turn it’s towards the Rugby World Cup in England next September.

The side made its triumphant return from the Pacific Nations Cup in Canada this morning, after beating Samoa 39-29 in the final on Tuesday.

“The team will now have a break till next Thursday. So the boys will have a bit of R and R…and then next Thursday we are back into camp. Fitness tests and really gets into some hard training till the end of August. So we have two and a half weeks of very intensive training with no games.”

The Flying Fijians will play a warm-up match against Canada early next month, before the World Cup opener against England at Twickenham Stadium on September 18th.
