The Fiji National Rugby League has started its development program for children in Suva this week.
The program, which started in Ra last week aims to find and develop the next crop of rugby league players.
Fiji National Rugby League Development Officer says a ten year development plan is now in motion and its starts with these youngsters.
“These are some of the kids we are trying to identify and put them in our program database so we can monitor them. Come 2025, we are looking for some of these kids this year and next year will be in our Fiji Bati team in 2025.”
The program is targeting children between the ages of 9 and 12.
Officials will be conducting the coaching clinics at Nadera and Davuilevu today and will shift to Kinoya tomorrow.
