FNRL signs MOU with NSW Cup bid team

It is an exciting time for Rugby League in the country.

The Fiji National Rugby League has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Fiji New South Wales Cup bid team to ensure that they field a team consisting of local players in the competition next year.

Fiji NSW bid team Chief Executive, Tia Roko says they are here to set their differences aside and work together according to the MOU for the benefit of local rugby league players in the country.

What the document entails is a guide and a way of practice in terms of us working together in the future. We acknowledge that our footprint has not been a good footprint as you may have seen in the last couple of months or heard through media sources that there has been a rift we here to fix that today.

FNRL and the bidding team now hopes to secure sponsors and the get the governments to support before the season next year.
