The Fiji National Rugby League today singed a $4 million sponsorship with Vodafone Fiji Limited today.
The four-year deal stretches the sponsors’ commitment with the sport for a record 15 years.
The deal means, the mobile company will sponsor four rugby league teams and a competition – which includes a team from primary and secondary school, the Fiji Bati side plus the National Club Championship.

FNRL Chief Executive Timoci Naleba says with the progress of the Fiji Bati team, their future looks bright.
“We have been in three World Cups so that speaks a lot of the potential that rugby league to win a world title.”
Meanwhile, FNRL’s season kicks off with the Vodafone Cup in March.
