The Fiji National Rugby League has plans to invite international High Performance Unit specialists to develop the sport in the country.

FNRL Chair Peni Musunamasi says they are trying to take the sport to another level and enable the local players to be recognized overseas.

“We’re in the process of inviting Rugby League Australia to assist them in getting HPU specialists so that they can monitor their club junior grades for better NRL contracts.”

Meanwhile, a new Fiji Bati coach will be announced later in the year.
