FNRL in the process to buy a piece of land

The Fiji National Rugby League is currently in the process of formalizing the acquisition of a piece of land in Narere.

Acting CEO Don Natabe says from now until February 2020, they are aiming to get the process completed.

He says between May and June next year, ground work will begin on the land.

We are looking to get a sports facility these are the plans that have been conceived by the Board in 2015. They were the actual board that initiated talks to acquire that piece of land in Narere.”

Natabe says they are looking at constructing a multi-facetted sporting facility.

He says the facility will also have office spaces.

Meanwhile, Natabe is optimistic the Fiji Bati can deliver against Papua New Guinea Kumuls in the Oceania Cup tomorrow,

Fiji Bati will take on the Kumuls at 4:20pm in Christchurch, New Zealand.
