The Fiji National Rugby League is impressed by the performance of the western school in the national secondary schools Vodafone Trophy this year.

FNRL development officer, Joe Rabele says it is quite an eye-opener to see five teams that will compete in the finals of the under 15, under 17 and under 19 grades coming from western-based schools.

“As you can see, the Western teams are dominating in the Fiji Secondary Schools competition this year. This just shows how much development has been done in the west, especially in our grass-roots level competition.”
