Rugby League is anticipating tomorrow’s national budget announcement.

Fiji National Rugby League chairman, Peni Musunamasi says next year is a big deal for the sport with the World Cup in England and they’re hoping toget a piece of the pie of what’s given to the Ministry of Youth & Sports.

“We are looking forward to the announcement because there is a lot going for us next year that we will be able to afford to host a tourney in Fiji and whatever comes can assist us and rely on government and sponsors that we have put our proposal to and know at the end of year what we have in place.”

The budget announcement will be made tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon.
