FNRL CEO resigns

Fiji National Rugby League Chief Executive Timoci Naleba had resigned from his position effective immediately.

The FNRL says with the past day’s coverage of Naleba’s default in his court- ordered payment to his past employer the Fiji Sports Council, the FNRL Board members met with him and discussed his future with the organization.

At the end of the meeting, Naleba agreed he will step down from the position effective immediately.

Board Chairman, Peni Musunamasi will act as the Executive Chairman until the vacant position is substantively filled in the future.
