FNPF on track to defend v'ball title

The Fiji National Provident Fund volleyball team looks on track to defend its title in the men’s grade of the Nadi International Airport Volleyball competition at Prince Charles Park.

FNPF defeated Narsey Plastics 21-15 in the quarterfinal to set-up a semi-final clash against Water Authority of Fiji Suva.

The second semi-final will see Republic of Fiji Military Forces take on Powerade.

In the mixed grade, Justice defeated Evergreen 18-14 to progress to the semi-finals where they will take on Water Authority of Fiji West.

Fiji National University meets PBS in the second semi-final.

134 teams are competing in the one-day tournament.

The winners in the men’s and mixed division will collect $2000 each and the runner’s up will earn $1000.

The losing teams in the semifinals will collect $250.
