August 27, 2015 11:55 pm

The Vodafone Flying Fijians team will be fully equipped with the latest technologies at the upcoming Rugby World Cup.

Answering to questions from opposition members in Parliament today, Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitobou told the members of the house that this will be the first World Cup where the Fijian team will use the GPS system to closely monitor the players on the field.

“The coaching staff are using the Sports Code Performance analysis software which is a New Zealand product to monitor the performance of players. This tool is used to analyze the player’s game and provide statistical information as a part of the preparation of the team to the Rugby World Cup.”
