The Flying Fijians were reminded of their poor performance at the last Rugby World Cup this morning by the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

Ratu Epeli told the players and management that when a team presents its i-tatau to the President, this is an indication that they are ready to do the country proud.

He says the people of Fiji are expecting a lot from the team that is going to play four matches in Europe.

This is only the beginning of the journey to the next world Cup. This is the first tour after the first World Cup. We did not equate ourselves too well in the last World Cup and you all know that. We disappointed many people, the other teams and ourselves.

The Flying Fijians depart for England on Friday morning.

Nine England based players will join the team in London before Fiji takes on England on November 11th.
