Flying Fijians return to training after a day's break

September 14, 2015 4:55 am

The Vodafone Flying Fijians will be holding a training around 11 tonight (Fiji time) and this will be the first run after Saturday.

This as players were given a break yesterday and had time off the pitch.

“A lot of talk still remains within the English rugby circles on what the Vodafone Flying Fijians will bring to Twickenham on Friday (Saturday Fiji time).
Most of the rugby pundits, media personnel and supporters of the English side do not really seem to know what to make of this Fijian team.
However, there has been caution thrown to the wind by some here that with John McKee at the helm with the help from the likes of Frans Ludeke and Tabai Matson, this could be a different type of Fijian team than to those seen before by the Northern Hemisphere nations.
So much so that Fiji has had media from Wales travel to London to cover training.
McKee along with skipper Akapusi Qera and the senior players have been talking about expectations within and are not letting any of the media attention get to the team.
It’s now about focussing on the task on hand rather than outside forces, which cannot be controlled.”

The Flying Fijians plays their first match against England this Saturday at 7am.
