Flying Fijians reduced to 30

Fourteen overseas reps have been named in the Flying Fijians 30-member squad to tour Europe next month.

Seasoned skipper, Netani Talei is out of the squad due to injury leaving coach Inoke Male to hunt for a new leader.

Notable inclusions is former captain and Wales-based , Deacon Manu, French-based players, Jone Qovu, Jovili Domolailai, and young guns, Metuisela Talebula and Waisea Nayacalevu.

Worcester Warrior, Josh Matavesi returns to the fold with other England-based reps, Vereniki Goneva and Ravai Fatiaki.

16 local players have also been named – Nadroga being the dominating district while Suva reps, Manasa Saulo, Viliame Veikoso, Malakai Volau, Josaia Lotawa are in.

Tailevu’s Leone Nakarawa and Lautoka’s Kelemedi Bola with Watisoni Votu have also been selected.
