The Vodafone Flying Fijians will be looking to end a fifteen-year-old drought at Apia Park when they face Samoa in the Pacific Nations Cup.
Fiji last beat Samoa at the venue in 2002, 17-16.
The last time the two teams met was at the PNC last year where Fiji won 29-16 in Suva.
Team captain, Akapusi Qera knows what it takes to beat Samoa and says his team is aware of the task on hand.
“Playing Samoa in Apia is never easy for any team. They have had some great victories against us here and we have not forgotten them. Saturday will be about winning the PNC and we are up for it.”
The two teams have played 50 times, with Fiji having won 27 times while Samoa has come out on top 20 times, three matches have ended in a draw.
The match kicks off at 1pm tomorrow.
