Flying Fijians name most capped team

October 1, 2015 12:32 am

The Vodafone Flying Fijians will be looking for their only second ever win against Wales when the two teams meet in the Rugby World Cup tomorrow.

The two teams have met on 10 occasions, with the Welsh having won eight and one ending in a draw.

Fiji’s only win was in 2007 RWC when the side beat Wales 38-34 and with John McKee’s men not having won a game so far in the 2015 edition, they need a victory to avoid being eliminated.

An interesting factor is that Fiji field their most experienced starting XV at a Rugby World Cup.

The 392 caps present in the starting team is one more than the 391 they fielded in their opening match against England.

Wales will host the Flying Fijians at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff at 3:45am tomorrow and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
