The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians first ever victory over France in their test match yesterday has boosted the players confidence ahead of the World Cup campaign next year.
The 21-14 win has pushed Fiji up to eighth place on the world ranking.
Coach John McKee says they made it into the pantheon of Fijian rugby after beating France.
However, French coach Jacques Brunel says Fiji will go to next year’s World Cup as dangerous outsiders with the ability to disrupt the established order.
Meanwhile, the Rugby World Cup kicks off in Japan on the 20th of September, 2019.
Fiji is in Pool A alongside Australia, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay.
