Flying Fijians internationals put hands up

May 6, 2014 12:10 am

The Vodafone Flying Fijians rugby side should have all its top players available for the June internationals.

Coach John McKee says he had been in contact with players in his capacity as the High Performance Unit manager before being appointed as head coach.

He adds at the moment only Seremaia Bai, who is joining Leicester Tigers in England from his current French club, Castres, has indicated his non-availability.

“We have got lot of responses now. We have sent invitation letters to the really extended squad probably about to 55 players to assess their availability. There has been very good response especially from our very big name players they are very keen to get back here in June.”

The Flying Fijians takes on Italy, Samoa, Tonga and the Cook Islands next month.

All matches will be held in Fiji, with the Italy and Samoa games in Suva and the other two in Lautoka.
