The Vodafone Flying Fijians rugby side jet out to USA today for the remainder of its Pacific Nations Cup matches.

After having played the New Zealand Maori All Blacks and Tonga at home, the team will not play any more games here in the country anymore.

Team coach John McKee says the support received from the public has been tremendous.

“It’s a pity with the format and the draws this year for the PNC that we are heading to North America. I’d love to play a game of two extra here. But that’s the way it is and those things we can’t control, but it was good to see support and the crowd being very vocal.”

Fiji takes on Samoa at 12pm on Saturday Sacramento, USA.
